Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Takehiro Hayashi ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of Peelzy, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Peelzy application and related services.

1. Information we collect

We collect information that is necessary to provide Peelzy:

• Account information, including your email address, authentication identifiers, and account profile information.
• Photos and camera images that you choose to use to create stickers.
• User-created content, including stickers, thumbnails, books, notes, stamps, page layouts, and related metadata.
• Exchange information, including offers, proposals, ownership history, and content shared through exchange links.
• Subscription and purchase status needed to provide Peelzy Plus and restore purchases.
• Technical and operational information needed to maintain security, diagnose errors, synchronize content, and operate the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, create and store stickers, synchronize collections and books, enable sharing and exchanges, provide paid features, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve reliability.

3. Camera, photos, and on-device storage

Peelzy accesses your camera or photo library only after you grant permission and choose to use those features. Image processing may occur on your device. Generated stickers and pending uploads may be stored locally so work is not lost when your connection is unstable. You can change permissions in device settings.

4. Service providers

We use service providers to operate Peelzy, including Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage; RevenueCat for subscription management; Google Play Billing on Android; and Apple services on iOS. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and only as needed to provide their services.

5. Sharing and exchanges

We do not sell personal information. When you create an exchange link or submit an exchange proposal, the related sticker and offer information may be visible to people who open or respond to that link. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections, authentication, access controls, and service-provider security features. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Retention

Account content is generally retained while your account remains active. When an account deletion request is completed, associated active data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days. Residual copies may remain in protected backups for up to 90 days. Billing, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may be retained longer when required by law or reasonably necessary.

8. Your choices and rights

You may update device permissions, log out, or request deletion of your account and associated data. Instructions are available on the account deletion page. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information.

9. Children

Peelzy is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their country to consent to the processing of personal information. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate consent, contact us.

10. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Peelzy changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
